I passed my exam on the first try! It wasn't easy in that you have to put your own effort and dedicate time to study, but everything you need is in these study materials. The Therapist Development Center gives you what you need to study to pass the exam, but most importantly it teaches you how to think like a good clinician. Thanks to Amanda I learned how to place myself realistically in the scenarios the exam was asking me, and how I should respond based on the knowledge I had.  There are no gimmicks; there shouldn't be no acronyms one should rely on to tell you how to answer the exam. If you have learned the material, and can think like a good clinician, you will pass this exam because that is what the clinical exam is testing you on! I even finished an hour early and had time to review some questions I was doubtful on. Thank you Amanda. I could hear your voice the day of the exam, guiding me in how to respond to the questions. And thank you to the The Therapist Development Center!!!!

I took the CA state exam prior to it turning into the national exam, and obviously did not pass. I used another study system, which to me was very overwhelming. That system did not have the auditory aspect of the study material so it was all self directed via book review, which was quite extensive and confusing for me. Having the materials already sectioned and organized was a perfect way to make a difficult exam very manageable. My personal journey leading up to taking both the Law and Ethics exam and the national exam had been quite extensive and anxiety driven, but I truly felt that The Therapist Development Center program was with me all the way! I was so grateful for the accessibility of this program as well. I was able to listen to the materials wherever I was, which was very helpful with busy schedules! I have recommended this program to many of my friends who have not yet begun studying! I am not the best test taker and I got extremely anxious as I sat for this test, but it was so similar to the practice tests that I felt very comfortable sitting for the real thing! Oh, and thank you Bethany for being accessible via phone when I needed help! You truly eased my anxiety! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I think you ladies at TDC are doing a super job with test prep! I used TDC to pass the CA Law and Ethics Exam and used it again for the ASWB Clinical Exam. I am happy to report that I passed! This was a very important exam for me because I have moved to three states and each time worked on licensing requirements to practice in each state! Moving to California was nerve-wrecking because of all the requirements needed as an Out-of-State Applicant. Already anxious about the licensing process with all the new changes, TDC made it so much easier to study for each test. Specifically, I appreciate the level of organization that went into the preparation for both exams. For example, dividing material into 30/50 topics is very helpful to learning information that can otherwise feel extremely overwhelming especially after being out of grad school for a while. Also, the use of quick studies and the lecture reviewing the NASW Code of Ethics was useful to me. Amanda's lectures on how to think through questions along with her pep talk at the end were very helpful as I prepared for the exam. The DSM 5 lecture for the Clinical exam was not only very helpful for the exam, but especially as I move forward with clinical practice. Last but not least, I really appreciated having access to Bethany as my coach. I appreciated her support and confidence she instilled days leading up to my exam. Having access to her as I worked through the material and came up with a review game-plan for the day of the exam supported my passing!  I know there is a lot of hard work that goes into creating a study system and I want to commend you on the product you have assembled here! Thank you for your support!
