I took the Simple Practice suicide training by Ben Caldwell and it was EXACTLY as you described, filled with statistics and acronyms. Ben then stated that the identified acronyms were proven ineffective in accurately assessing suicide risk. As I was listening to this, it made me feel unprepared to manage a person who was feeling suicidal. Your training is HEADS AND SHOULDERS better. I will definitely take the suicide "edge of life" training as part of my continuing education. I like the comparison to CPR training. Need to do it every two years as a refresher.

I learned a lot from this training. The training confirmed what I currently do well. The training also helped me to see what I need to work on and improve on.

This course is excellent. I love Amanda sharing her experiences. Amanda sharing her experiences has allowed me the opportunity to normalize my own.

Really good training. Amanda was excellent, her disclosure of personal experience with suicide was very meaningful and helped to bring her points across.

Excellent course. I can see that this training, and additional trainings, will help us become more comfortable discussing suicide more openly and without fear that delving into details would be morbid or aggravate the depression. I can see how the Courage to Live process allows the client to let off some steam just talking about it. Thank you.

This course offers perspectives and methodology not easily found in other suicide risk trainings.
