    Fulfill Your Education Requirement.

    Obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE approved or accredited college or university.

    Qualify for the Clinical Exam.

    Complete the State Application and a Provisional License Supervision Agreement to register as a Provisional Clinical Social Worker BEFORE starting your clinical hours.

    Once you have been approved, obtain 3,000 hours of post-master’s supervised clinical training or work experience in clinical social work.

    Of the three thousand (3,000) hours required, at least one thousand two hundred (1,200) hours shall be direct client contact hours.

    Obtain at least 100 hours of supervision under a qualified clinical supervisor.

    Apply for the Clinical Exam.

    Complete the State Application for Licensed Clinical Social Worker by Completing Provisional.

    Make sure to review your completed application. Missing dates and signatures are the most common reasons applications are delayed. And don’t forget to include the check!

    You'll have to pass the ASWB LCSW exam to get your Wyoming Social Work License. So once you are cleared, register for the LCSW exam with the Prepare for the Social Work Clinical License (LCSW) Exam and obtain your LCSW.
