Kat Magner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Anna Maria College and completed an accelerated Master’s at Anna Maria College. Kat used the Therapist Development Center program to study and passed her exam on the first try in July of 2021. Kat found that the blend of visual, audio, and written materials to round out a unique learning experience. Kat also honed her reasoning skills with the tailored approach to TDC that makes the program one of a kind. Professionally, Kat has worked clinically in addictions, behavioral health, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis, permanency planning for system youth, residential settings, and forensic social work. Kat has experience working with dual diagnosis, youth with disabilities, group counseling, individual counseling, and adults with severe and complex mental illness. Currently when not working Kat provides DBT and CBT to adults with complex mental illness in Massachusetts.
