I’m so grateful that I was able to study with the Therapist Development Center materials. I practiced going through all of the steps and I passed the MFT Clinical exam the first time! While you are taking the test it may seem easy at first, but it gets hard toward the end. I feel TDC helped with every topic that was on the test, in fact I was overly prepared. Even though I was scoring low the first time taking the mock exams, once hearing the rationales, I scored better the second time. One thing that was helpful was being able to hear the rationales of the answers I got wrong on the mock exams. Stay confident while taking the test and remember everything that was said. I would definitely recommend TDC for the MFT Clinical Exam!
In addition to using TDC, I purchased mock/practice exams from Gerry Grossman. I would have liked to have had more mock exams from TDC. I liked the TDC mock exams a whole lot better than GG's. Many of the GG's mock exam questions are odd or irrelevant. I will recommend TDC over GG to anyone who asks. I also used TDC for the MFT Law & Ethics exam and now I can recommend TDC for both exams. I'm super grateful for TDC's program!!! Thanks so much!!!
TDC's exam prep program worked well for me! I passed the clinical exam on my first try last Saturday. The lectures and material overall are thorough and adequately prepared me for the exam. In addition, the mock exam questions seem similar to the ones on the actual exam. Whenever I had issues with either the material or how to proceed with my studying, I reached out to Robin and received a response in 1-2 days. Robin's feedback was always clear, constructive, and supportive. I would also like to add that Amanda's pep talk at the end solidified what I needed to do on exam day: LEAN IN. I found this framing of how to tackle the exam to be quite powerful. Thank you so much TDC!
