The LMSW study system was wonderful, and helped me get comfortable with taking the exam. If you follow everything as they have instructed you will pass the first time! I have never taken the ASWB exam before, and was advised by a classmate to prepare with TDC. I'm glad I did because most of the content they focus on and also example questions, really do prepare you for the exam. I love that they focus on teaching you how to test, and not just cramming in a bunch of information. I highly recommend you give this program a try!!

The study materials my MSW program recommended were useless. Therapist Development Center is the only study program you need to pass your clinical exam. It covers both how to take the test and a thorough review of topics covered on the exam. The audio lectures and extensive quizzes/practice exams were extremely valuable to me. I passed my clinical exam on the first try and never have to worry about it again!
I had almost given up in finding an ASWE LSW examination preparatory course which did not emphasize memorization and test taking. I am not proficient at test taking. TDC's regimen gave me the confidence to believe that I could pass the ASWE LSW examination. I attribute passing the LSW examination on my first attempt to the regimen of TDC's teaching rather than memorization and test taking. TDC helped me pass my exam on the first try. The program covers how to study for the exam, what topics to expect and practice tests/exams so you can get a feel for what to expect. I ultimately felt nervous as the quantity of questions is overwhelming but using this study program was very helpful in my preparation. I would recommend it to anyone studying for the LMSW exam, the investment is worth it.
I am horrible test taker and English is my second language, german native here. I was worried and doubted my ability to pass on the first try, I did TDCs program three times and passed with flying colors. I prepared myself based on the guidelines in the study prep and it helped me soothe my anxiety. I used other studying book materials before trying TDC but it wasn't helpful, no information was sticking. Anyways, its great program!! I can only highly recommend it, especially for those who grow up with a different language.
This program is great! I definitely felt more confident going into the exam after running through the program twice. I'll be using this when I go for my LCSW, too.
I came across TDC soon after starting my MSW journey in 2020. I saved the information for future use especially because of the discounts for military and veterans. I am in my last quarter of school and will graduate next month February. I requested for the military discount after I had my exam date scheduled and heard back within an appropriate timeframe. I liked the audio part of the program as o was able to listen to the information while driving. I also liked the anecdotal stories that helped me remember the information. TDC study material was simple and to the point. I purchased another study material which was a physical book and found it was very overwhelming with too much information. TDC mock exam was very close to and indicative of the ASWB board practice and actual exam. I would definitely recommend TDC to everyone. First time go licensure exam passed before conferral of degree. Thank you to TDC. I will ne back for thé LCSW Exam.
Having a study plan that is clear & easy to follow makes all the difference. Sure I could have done it myself and I did prior to trying this program but due to the volume of knowledge needing to be studied, it was overwhelming when I looked at it. They did a great job of breaking things down into digestible bits which ended up making it easy to actually do & complete. Thank you so much to the folx of TDC! Hi TDC Family, Today I passed my LMSW! When I first began this road with TDC, I scored a 58% on the Top 50 pretest. I was mortified. Having graduated last May, I knew I wasn't ready to take the exam, so I procrastinated until a recent job offer was contingent upon my successful passing. So, seven weeks ago, I started with another test prep company, which I won't name. But, I quickly realized I would need a different teaching method than just utilizing acronyms. Realizing that I was running out of time, I remembered TDC as a suggestion from my professor. So, I committed to the investment. After my first pass-through of the materials, I scored 64% on the DSM 5 exam, 86% on the Values and Ethics, and 82% on the crisis. Then, I scored a 72% on Mock exam one and a 74% on mock exam two. As outlined by the study plan, I repeated the course, and my scores increased to 86%, 86%, 90%, 90%, and 88%, respectively. I ended the course scoring an 82% on the final mock exam. If you're CONSIDERING purchasing this course, stop it! Just buy the course and be glad that you did. In six weeks, I went from "Questioning my ability to successfully pass the exam to walking into the testing center this morning feeling confident and prepared that I knew the material and was ready to pass!" The first time I took it, I was recovering from having covid. I failed by 13. The second time I took it, I felt more prepared, but not confident enough. I failed by 3. My coworkers told me about TDC and they passed within a month of each other. They told me TDC is worth it, so I purchased it and passed with it!
