Fulfill Your Education Requirement.
Obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE approved or accredited college or university.
Apply for your Provisional Mental Health Practitioner License as a Provisional Certified Master Social Worker (PCMSW).
Complete the State Application.

Qualify for the Clinical Exam.
Complete 3,000 hours of supervised post-degree practice under the supervision of a certified master social worker (CMSW).
Apply for the Clinical Exam.

You'll have to pass the ASWB LCSW exam to get your Nebraska Social Work License. So once you are cleared, register for the LCSW exam with the ASWB.
