Here at the Therapist Development Center, we understand that taking the ASWB Clinical Level Exam can be daunting, and choosing the right social work ASWB Clinical exam guide can be confusing. Many of you have jobs that are dependent on you passing this LCSW exam. Others have been out of graduate school for a long time and feel out of touch with the broad amount of content tested on the ASWB Clinical Exam. How many questions on the ASWB clinical exam?
There are 170 questions on the ASWB exam, with 150 questions used for scoring. The other 20 questions are used for possible additions to future ASWB exams. These are multiple-choice questions.

Wonderful program! I am a visual and audio learner and this program worked perfectly with my learning style. I started studying for my LCSW exam about 3 months out. I did each of the steps (modules) in this program in chunks, allowing myself to really digest the material. I enjoyed all the audios explaining the answers to test prep questions as well as the practices quizzes. The way everything is broken down into certain topics helped me to really understand things that could be on the exam. In addition, The Quick Studies were awesome to review over right before I took my exam. Amanda does a wonderful job not only explaining all the aspects of what to look for on the exam, and how the questions could be worded, but also how to mentally and emotionally prepare. The mock exams (85 and the 170) were extremely beneficial to take prior to the exam. Finally, seeing myself complete each step as I got closer to taking the test, really boosted my confidence, and made me feel more secure with feeling like I could pass. 10 out of 10 recommend to use this to help you prepare. You will not regret it.
I’ve used this program for both my masters level and clinical level exams and passed both of them on the first try. I was hesitant to buy the program again for my clinical exam, but glad I did- just for the peace of mind. I failed this test 3 times in 2015 and then i started to focus on addiction. I knew it was time for me to get my LCSW so i went with TDC. then covid hit and i had so much loss, took me a while to get through it. I reached back out and TDC login me right back in. they truly were with me until i passed! I passed the first time i took it after using TDC. I needed 103 and i scored 115

I passed! I studied for about 8 weeks with more intense study 4 weeks prior. I felt prepared for the test and found the practice tests very helpful. My exams/quizzes ranged from 75% to 90% on the quizzes. I felt nervous of course but tried to remember the tips Amanda gave. I brought fruit and apple juice and took a break. I felt confident going into it.

This exam has given me anxiety since day one of studying three years ago. I've paid for multiple different test prep services, and by far TDC prepared me the best for this exam! I missed my second attempt by 1 point last year and took a 9 month break. Coming back to the exam I didn't even know where to start! I feel overwhelmed and discouraged. I passed my LCSW exam yesterday! I began studying with the TDC Clinical program late March/early April. The last few weeks became hectic at work and I wasn't able to study as I had anticipated/planned. That meant that when I walked into my exam yesterday AM, I hadn't completed the whole study program, as I had ran out of time. I don't recommend this of course- definitely do the whole program, as I was nervous and not feeling confident as much as I would have, if I had completed the entire study system. But as mentioned- I passed! I believe this speaks to the effectiveness of the program. So while I didn't get through the whole program, I got through a large portion (about 75-80%) and all of that was valuable and essential for preparing me for the test. I'll recommend this program to colleagues and others who are struggling with what to study. The program takes the weight off of trying to piece together meaningful study material- & I felt it was not too much, not too little but just enough. TDC is the Goldilocks of study exam programs!
