    Prepare for the Master’s Level Exam.

    Pick an exam date and make your test appointment at Pearson VUE.

    Pass the Master’s Level Exam and obtain your LMSW.

    Congratulations! Now you can start earning your hours for the LCSW Exam.

    Qualify for the Clinical Exam.

    Register with the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board by submitting a Supervision Plan within 60 days from the beginning date of supervision.

    Complete two years or 4,000 hours of post-master’s social work experience.

    Your supervisor must submit a LCSW Supervision Evaluation form to the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board within 60 days of terminating supervision.

    Apply for the Clinical Exam.

    You'll have to pass the ASWB LCSW exam to get your Arkansas Social Work License. So once you are cleared, register for the LCSW exam with the ASWB.
